Steven Belletto

Steven Belletto is the author of Black Surrealist: The Legend of Ted Joans (Bloomsbury, 2025), The Beats: A Literary History (Cambridge UP, 2020), and No Accident, Comrade: Chance and Design in Cold War American Narratives (Oxford UP, 2012). His six edited books include The Cambridge Companion to Jack Kerouac (Cambridge UP, 2024), American Literature in Transition, 1950-1960 (Cambridge UP, 2018), and The Cambridge Companion to the Beats (Cambridge UP, 2017). He is the Francis A. March Professor of English at Lafayette College, and an editor of Contemporary Literature.
